Obituary for Ester Mae Daniels

Ester Mae Daniels, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2010. She was born in Pitt County, North Carolina. She moved to Long Branch in 1960. She worked for Sullivan, Becker, and Stewart until she retired in 1982. She was a member of Second Baptist, Long Branch, since the early 1960’s. She served as a Missionary. She was predeceased by her husband, Butrice Leroy, parents, Branch Hines, and Mary Elizabeth Daniels; and a son, Jimmy Lee.

She leaves to mourn; her children, Elizabeth Daniels-Gilmore, Aulander Daniels, Doris Jean Daniels-Cherry, Roy Daniels, Milton Daniels, Francine Daniels-Glass, Michael Daniels, Louie Daniels and Shirley Daniels-Barton.

Visitation will be held at Second Baptist Church, Long Branch on Thursday, June 10th from 9 to 10am with the Funeral Service to begin at 10am. Additional services will be Good Hope Baptist Church, North Carolina on Saturday, June 12, 2010 with interment to follow at Winterville Cemetery in Winterville, North Carolina. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of arrangements. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story, or light a candle by selecting a tab on the left.
