Fredy O. Mendez-Ramirez

Fredy O. Mendez, 55, of Long Branch, New Jersey, passed away on March 10, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1968, in Guatemala City. Fredy was known for his love of laughter, jokes, and bringing joy to those around him. Described as a great friend by all who knew him, he will be deeply missed.

Fredy is survived by his daughters, Alejandra Victoria and Jennifer Aguilar, granddaughters Eva Dennis and Noemi Victoria, brothers Edvin Mendez Sr, Nelson Mendez, and Glendy Lopez, and his mother, Leonor Ramirez and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Mendez, and his wife, Claudia Mendez.

Fredy was a fan of Real Madrid and Comunicaciones FC. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Fredy was a parishioner of Star of the Sea Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch.

A memorial gathering will be held at Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch to honor and celebrate Fredy's life on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate on Saturday, March 16 at 11 am at Star of the Sea Church. Interment will follow at White Ridge Cemetery.
