Albertino E. Da Cruz

Albertino E. Da Cruz, age 63 of Brooklyn, died on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. Albertino was born in Mindelo, Cabo Verde to Eduardo Antonio Da Cruz and Juliana dos Santos Rocha. He enjoyed many years as a bridge painter and loved sports, baking, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Albertino was a very kind and gentle soul and loved by many. He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Da Cruz; his children: Juliana K. Da Cruz, Tenisha Chanel Da Cruz, and Antonio Eduardo Da Cruz; grandchildren: Jacob Klejka Da Cruz, Gabriel Antonio Silva Da Cruz; and his siblings: Carlos Da Cruz, Octavio Da Cruz, Maria da Luz, Zinha Ramos, Antonio Pedro Ramos, Manuel Da Cruz, Maria Antonieta Da Cruz, Eduardo Da Cruz, Filomena Da Cruz, Fernanda Da Cruz, Neusa Da Cruz, Helena Da Cruz, Ana Paula Da Cruz, Paulo J. Da Cruz, Cesar Da Cruz, Fatima Da Cruz, Adilson Da Cruz, Alicia Da Cruz Fatina Da Cruz, Fernanda L. Da Cruz, Calu Nascimento and Tinaia Da Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Saturday, 9:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 at Star of the Sea Church in Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
