Angel Tellez Figueroa

Angel Tellez Figueroa, age 87 of Long Branch, left us peacefully in his home early Sunday morning, August 23, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents Cheo Figueroa and Daniella Tellez and his beloved daughter Monique Figueroa. He is survived by his life partner, Carmela Marrocco; her son Derek Marrocco; his cousin, Julio Figueroa; his daughter, Zonice Figueroa; and his devoted dog, Baci. Angel has many relatives living in Puerto Rico and in the Bronx as well. Angel came to the United States when he was 14 years old and served our Country honorably in the US Army as a paratrooper during the Vietnam War. By trade Angel was a dry cleaner.

He became a member of the Marrocco family in 2006 and remained until his final days. Angel is missed and loved by everybody who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27 from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:45 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch.
