Angelo Massaro Jr.

Angelo Massaro Jr. also known as Ang, passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 71 at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, surrounded by his loving wife Kimberly, and his childhood friend Michael and his wife Janice. He was born in Long Branch, NJ.

Angelo had a passion for golf and was a proud member of the Deal Country Club. He also enjoyed football and celebrated the Super Bowl with many parties. In addition to his hobbies, Angelo dedicated his time to community service. He served as the chairman of the Ronald McDonald House and was actively involved in the Long Branch Rotary, Chamber of Commerce; and Italian American Club in Ocean Township.

The educational journey for Angelo began at St. Jerome's in West Long Branch, NJ, where he met many of his lifelong friends, imagine the "Little Rascals". His other lifelong friends came from the neighborhood, summer jobs, high school and college. He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School. He graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, and later earned his master's degree from Monmouth University.

Professionally, Angelo excelled in the fields of banking, finance, and real estate. He made significant contributions to these industries throughout his career.

Family was important to Angelo, and he was preceded in death by his father, Angelo Massaro Sr., and his mother, Catherine Massaro. Angelo is survived by his wife Kimberly, many cousins and lifelong friends he considers family.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, January 24th, from 4pm-7pm at Damiano Funeral Home, located at 191 Franklin Ave in Long Branch. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, located at 408 Prospect St, Long Branch, on Thursday, January 25th, at 10:30am.

Angelo Massaro Jr. will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
