Anisa Nurutdinova

Anisa Nurutdinova, age 81 of Neptune City, died on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune. Born in Shakristan, Tajikistan (formerly USSR), she moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1999 to help her family. Together with her family she moved to Middletown, NJ 5 years ago and finally achieved her goal of living independently with her husband last year. 

Anisa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always sacrificed for her family, putting everyone before herself. She loved gardening, cooking and needle work. Even towards the end of her life, when her health was rapidly declining she still had the energy and will to garden. Sunflowers were her favorite flower. 

She was predeceased by her son in 2019. She is survived by her husband, Engel (married 68 years); her daughter, Venera; her granddaughter, Olga; and her great grandchildren, Aliyah and Israel. 

A memorial gathering for her family will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 9 am followed by a procession to Laurel Grove Cemetery. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
