Candace McGeddy, age 78, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Oceanport, New Jersey. Born on April 19, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Candace was a respected and beloved figure in her community and a devoted advocate for patients at Monmouth Medical Center, where she dedicated over 30 years of service.

 Candace was known for her respectful, loving, caring, confident, and hardworking nature. She was a graduate of Shore Regional High School and spent her life making a significant impact on those around her through her career and personal interactions.

She enjoyed spending her leisure time engaging in various hobbies that included relaxing at the beach, swimming in the pool, watching movies, and expressing her love through cooking and baking.  

Candace is survived by her sons, William McGeddy Jr. and Michael McGeddy Sr., and her grandson, Michael McGeddy Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McGeddy Sr., and her parents, Dorthy and Ralph Weelock and Mary McGeddy her daughter in law.
