Carol DeYoung

Carol DeYoung, age 85 of Ocean Twp., died on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Woodbridge where she graduated from the High School and moved to Ocean Twp. 61 years ago.

Carol was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Long Branch where she loved singing in the choir. She was a secretary at Centric Clutch for a number of years before working for several other firms in the local Ocean area.

She was predeceased by her husband Adrian in 2004. Carol and Adrian had a passion for traveling and loved going to new places together. Surviving is her sister in law and her husband, Dolores and Edward Kresge: her nephew, John Kresge and niece, Susan Kresge. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carol & Adrian DeYoung ’56 Testamentary Endowed Scholarship Fund, Lehigh University Gift Processing, 622 Brodhead Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015 (checks payable to Lehigh University, Carol & Adrian DeYoung ’56 with memo to note, Carol & Adrian DeYoung ’56).  The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence through the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
