Da Kyong Park, Harmie, loving mother, wife and grandmother passed on May 18, 2020 at the age of 82. She was surrounded in love by her husband and son by her side and in the thought of her grandchildren and daughter in law who could not be by her side when she needed us most.
Da was born in January of 1938 in Chang Young, South Korea. This is where she met and married her true love of over 55 yrs, Jong Gak. In the early 70’s, along with their son moved to the United States for a brighter future and would later become citizens. Ocean Township, NJ is where they choose to build their dream home and raise their son, Jung Ho. She has resided in that home for over 40 years, with her loving family filled with love, laughter, music, amazing cooking and all the joy that her four grandchildren would bring in recent years.
Da will forever be remembered by those that loved; her loving husband, Jong Gak, her adoring son, Jung Ho and his wife, Kyndlewood and forever be treasured and cherished by their children, her four grandchildren; Jaeden, Ky, Jin and Bryn.
Da will always be the matriarch of our family, she instilled Korean values, love, strength, wisdom and loved us all unconditionally. We will miss her passionate reminders and will always carry them in our hearts; always have pocket money, eat good, take it easy, study good and to always come and talk. From your loving family “Good Night sweetheart, sleep good”.
