Dennis had an innate ability to connect with others throughout his life. Anyone that met Dennis can attest to his charismatic personality. He radiated positivity with his selfless nature, bravery, reliability, goofiness, and beautifully twisted sense of humor. He was truly genuine and caring as seen through his words and actions. He went out of his way to help someone in need, whether it be fixing a car or offering a laugh. He could walk into any room and effortlessly make everyone smile.
Dennis had an unmatched sense of adventure. He enjoyed sports growing up, especially football, lacrosse, weightlifting, outdoor activities like hiking, and anything else life would throw at him. He enjoyed nothing more than gaming with his friends and working on his cars, boats, and motorcycles. He was so gifted in all his skills.
Dennis was an airborne combat medic in the United States Army and achieved the rank of sergeant. He spent 5 years in the military, including a tour of duty overseas in Afghanistan. He deeply valued the lifelong friends he made through his service.
Dennis was a loving son, brother, friend, and husband. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Chris and Teri, siblings, Chris, Allison and Stephanie, his wife, Riley, his pups, Motley and Maggie, as well as his beloved friends whom he considered his family.
A hero in life, Dennis was a hero in death. He provided life to countless other people through organ donation, allowing other people a second chance at life.
Dennis’s loss leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered as a unique, positive, happy guy who made every moment an experience.
