Emmanuel De Jesus Valdez Obituary

Emmanuel "Manny" Valdez, a beacon of joy and laughter, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, due to complications from epilepsy. Born to Doris Ramirez and Guillermo Valdez on June 20, 1992, in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, Manny was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose exuberant personality and generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Manny's early life in Miami was filled with the love and support of his family, including his devoted parents, his brother Guillermo Valdez Jr., and his sister Doralba Valdez. He carried the warmth of his family's bond with him throughout his life. A proud graduate of Long Branch High School, Manny was recognized for his sharp intellect and quick wit, which made him a favorite among his peers and teachers alike.

He loved his Family more than anything. He lived with his sister for the last 11 years of his life where there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for each other. The love between Manny and Dora was unconditional and unmatched! His mom Doris was his best friend they spoke on the phone daily! Same goes for his Father Guillermo. Manny and his older brother Will also spoke on a consistent basis and gave each other advice on life. They checked on each other daily. Distance could never come between Manny and his family. He loved family more than anything.

Manny's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sales led him to a successful career where he was admired for his innovative ideas and his ability to connect with people. His colleagues often sought his advice, knowing that Manny could be counted on for his insight and genuine desire to help others succeed.

An avid sports fan, Manny's love for baseball knew no bounds, with the Mets holding a special place in his heart. Sundays were sacred to him, a day to indulge in the thrill of sports betting online with his close friend Kesh. Together, they celebrated victories and weathered losses, always looking forward to the next game. Manny's competitive nature shone brightly, too, when he played Call of Duty, where his skills were second to none. He was a formidable opponent and a loyal teammate in the virtual battlefield.

Manny's sense of humor was legendary. He was a master of levity, always ready with a joke or a playful prank to lift the spirits of those around him. His talent for trolling was unmatched, and he wore the title of "professional troller" as a badge of honor. Yet, beneath the laughter, Manny possessed a deep wisdom and empathy that made him a trusted confidant. He gave great advice, often surprising others with the depth of his understanding and his selfless perspective.

Described by those who loved him as funny, generous, and selfless, Manny's legacy is one of kindness, humor, and an unwavering commitment to bringing happiness to others. His laughter will echo in the hearts of his family and friends, a reminder of the joy he brought into the world.

Manny's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the impact one person can have on the lives of many. He will be profoundly missed, but the memories of his infectious smile and the sound of his laughter will continue to inspire and comfort those who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to Emmanuel "Manny" Valdez, we celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the countless ways he enriched our lives. His spirit remains with us, guiding us to find joy in every moment and to cherish the bonds of love and friendship that he so deeply valued. Manny's journey through life was a brilliant one, and though his time with us was cut short, the light he shone will never dim.
