Erika C. Dugan

Erika C. Dugan, 97, of Neptune, New Jersey, passed away on July 1, 2023. She was born on October 30, 1925, in Marienburg, Germany. Erika was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family, including her beloved schnauzer and bijou.

Erika had a passion for animals and was known for her nurturing spirit. She had a green thumb and took great pride in tending to her garden, cultivating beautiful flowers and plants. Erika also enjoyed spending time at the beach, where she would swim and soak up the sun. She had an appreciation for fine dining and enjoyed exploring different cuisines.

In her leisure time, Erika found joy in knitting and sewing, creating beautiful garments and crafts. She also had a love for ballet and appreciated the grace and elegance of this art form.

Erika is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Dugan, who shared many wonderful years together. She is also survived by her brother, Ingo, and sister, Bridgette, and a host of nieces and nephews. Erika was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude, her father, Wilhelm, and her nine brothers and sisters.

Erika's caring nature, warm smile, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Erika's life and honor her memory.
