Francis Edward Fallon

Francis Edward Fallon, 79, of Ocean Grove, NJ, died peacefully on December 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Frank was born September 2, 1942 in Manhattan to the late Catherine (nee Buckman) and John Fallon. He resided in Manhattan, where he attended Xavier High School, Fordham University and New York University, until 1985, when he moved with his wife Ann (nee Daley) to New Jersey to raise a family.

Beloved husband of 40 years of Ann Fallon. Proud and loving father of Daniel (Megan) Fallon, Francis Fallon and Julia (James Roche) Fallon, and adoring grandfather of Jack Fallon. Devoted brother of the late Maureen (nee Fallon) Lynch and cherished uncle of Stephen (Amy) Lynch.

Working as a rehabilitation counselor at various hospitals in New York City and as the Employee Assistance Director at NJ Transit, Frank devoted his career to helping others. After retiring in 2015, he volunteered to drive elderly patients to medical appointments. Frank’s true calling, however, was his devotion to his children. He rarely missed a sporting event, performance or ceremony, and spent countless hours driving his children to these events. Frank also enjoyed the NY Times crossword, gardening, the racetrack, the beach, and spending time with his dogs, Mactavish, Dakotah and Finnegan. His fondest memory was of a trip to Ireland with his family in 2017.

Memorial Service will be held on March 19, 2022 at 2 pm at Trinity Church, 503 Asbury Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. The service will be live streamed for family and friends unable to attend in-person, with a link to be provided here when available.
