Francisco "DV" del Valle, 63, passed away on March 13, 2024, in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was born on April 4, 1960 in Pittsburgh, PA. DV was a physician, double board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with added qualification in the specialty of pain management. He was an empathetic doctor who dedicated his life to helping others.
DV was known for his kind and generous nature, his leadership qualities, and his sense of humor. He was the life of the party, loved telling stories, and always made people laugh. He was an achiever who loved learning new things and was outgoing in nature. DV had a passion for the outdoors, particularly the ocean and mountains. He was also a teacher and coach, always eager to share his knowledge and skills with others.
DV is survived by his wife, Ma. Constantina del Valle, his son Paolo del Valle, the mother of his son Jacqueline Pascual, his sister Cristina del Valle-Sarmiento, his brother Ferdinand del Valle, his brother Ronald Cosico, and his mother Barbara del Valle. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel del Valle.
In his free time, DV enjoyed running, ballroom dancing, hiking, playing the guitar, and playing basketball. He was active in the Bukas Loob sa Diyos Filipino prayer group and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM at Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 18 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael's Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, NJ. Damiano Funeral Home is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
