Geraldine E. Forziati

Geraldine “Gerri” E. Forziati (nee Dick), age 79 of Long Branch passed away peacefully on April 24, 2022. Gerri grew up in Palisades Park, NJ, later moved to Englewood Cliffs, NJ where, as a single mother she raised her 3 children. She was a woman who wore many hats working in Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate and enjoyed 20 years working at Margolin Dental.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Lara Wengiel and Lisa Stern; her sons-in-law Chris Wengiel and Doug Stern; her grandchildren Tylar Wengiel, Zachary and Isabella Stern and Megan, Cameron and Delaney Forziati; her siblings Barbara Placek, Linda Schurmann and Gary Dick. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

She is predeceased by her loving son Alan Forziati and her parents Ann and Jerome Dick.

Gerri enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with her beloved pets Ollie and Gigi.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 2 pm until the time of the service at 4:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch.
