Irene T. Perry affectionately known as Bean, 67, of Long Branch, NJ passed away November 14, 2024.
Irene was born on February 14, 1957, to Arlene Perry and Wesley Hughes in Red Bank, NJ. She graduated from Red Bank Regional High School, and pursued a long career in the hospitality industry. She served a twenty-eight year tenure with RWJBarnabas Monmouth Medical Center.
Irene was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and all-around family friend. She was an avid music lover and had an extensive record vinyl collection. She loved all things home and garden. Irene believed that home is where the heart is. She loved dancing and going to concerts. She was a people person, and she had a very kind heart and loved helping others in any way she could. Irene was a true servant and an angel on Earth.
Irene is predeceased by her parents, Arlene and Wesley, her sister, Claudette (Missy) Perry, her brother, Wayne Perry and many other others. Irene leaves to cherish her precious memories to her loving daughter, Danielle Perry; her pride and joy grandson, Dashir Perry; her brother Charles Perry, her sister Tiffany Perry; her nephews Juwan and Jaquan, her niece Arlene; her niece Quiyana Perry, her nephew Jaqwez Latimore; her nephew Clarence (Sonia) Spinks, nieces Sade, Amani, Quiyana, Zira and nephew Sylas; her nephew Tyree Spinks, nephews Je'ree and Je'Kari; and a whole host of family, loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the Home Going Service at 11 am at the Damiano Funeral Home.
