James Mazzarisi

James T. Mazzarisi, age 79 of Long Branch, died Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Jersey City he moved Long Branch 10 years ago. James was a sales representative for many years at Stratus Computers in New York City. After retirement he enjoyed a career as an office manager at The Jesan Construction Group in Newark.

Mazz was known for having a comical sense of humor and never disappointed in making people laugh.

He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Catherine Mazzarisi. Surviving is his wife Frances; a son and daughter in law, James and Tara Mazzarisi; two daughters and a son in law, Dawn and Angelo Giacchi and Susan Burke; his sister Jane Hughes; three beloved grandchildren, Justin Thomas, Angelo and Anthony and his two faithful companions Stinky and Yogi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Thursday; 9:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 am at Star of the Sea Church of Christ the King Parish.
