James Rodriguez Obituary

James Rodriguez (Jim), age 92 of Eatontown, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends August 14, 2021. Born in New York City he spent his youth and adult years in Monmouth County.

Jim served honorably in the US Army. He worked as a civilian machinist at Naval Station Earle in Colts Neck retiring in his early sixties to pursue his other interests. They included spending time with his wife, traveling worldwide, meeting people and dancing. Jim’s travels include the US, Europe and some South American Counties. Jim always loved meeting people and said he liked bringing a smile to their faces. His other passion was dancing and he spent countless hours at local senior centers participating in dancing events or classes.

James “Jimmy” was an exemplary man of values who was full of love and overflowing joy. He had a motivating spirit, and truly loved and enjoyed life. He enjoyed music and dance, and gathering with friends and family. He was a man who loved God and had a lot of faith. Today you are not with us but all that you sowed with love will remain in our hearts until the day we meet again, may you rest in peace my great friend and father.
