Janice Norma Partusch (nee Taylor) passed away on May 8, 2024, in Neptune, New Jersey, at the age of 88. She was born on February 9, 1936, in Neptune, NJ, Monmouth County.
Janice worked as a waitress in Monmouth County and as a bus aide for the Eatontown BOE. In her free time, she enjoyed being a part of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 2226.
She is survived by her sons Tommy (Karen) Partusch of Lipan, Texas, Glen (Fran) Partusch of Oakhurst, daughters Debbi Mansfield of Ocean, Wendy Tallarico of Mt Pocono PA, Cindy (John) Carretta of Eatontown, along with 7 grandchildren: Tara (Brian) Manning, Heather Partusch, Cortney Allman, Eric Calder (Amber Dimmich), Samantha Carretta (Michael Avedikian), Dawn (Kurt) Pechinsky, and Tim (Michelle) Barry. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren: Dyllan, Jake, Kaylee, Bobby, Wyatt, Kayden, Makayla, Ryan, Brody, Liam, Daniella and Allie.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Frank Partusch, son Richard Partusch, daughter-in-law Eileen Partusch, and granddaughter Alicia Partusch and her parents Norman and Janice Taylor.
Janice's educational journey included attending Bradley School in Asbury Park, NJ, and graduating from Asbury Park High School.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home with the service to begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Janice has requested donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of her late granddaughter Alicia Partusch.
