John A. Valenti, Sr.

John Valenti Sr, 71 passed away on February 20, 2021 while being treated at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. He was born on October 21st 1949 in Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in Jersey City NJ. John was one of 4 children and went on to United States Army Services serving during the Vietnam War. After returning home from his service, he resided the rest of his life in New Jersey and worked at Petroleum Storage Specialist and Assistant Adjunct in Jersey City. John was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2140 in Long Branch.

He is survived by his children, John Valenti Jr., Tina Ciano and Steven Valenti; his sisters, Madeline Strack, Carol McKevitt and Marie Whitlow, 5 grandchildren and will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25 from 6 pm until the time of the service at 7:30 pm with Military Honors at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., Long Branch. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
