Johnson Borrero, aged 60, passed away on January 15, 2025, in Long Branch, New Jersey. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Johnson was a cherished figure, known for his funny, generous, and compassionate nature. Throughout his life, Johnson was a beacon of positivity and strength, embodying characteristics of kindness and bravery.

Professionally, Johnson served as a manager at United Supply Company, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication for over 30 years. He was a devout worshiper at Christ the King Church, infusing his faith into his everyday actions and interactions.

Johnson was a man of many passions, including cooking, fishing, lifting weights, traveling, dancing salsa, and spending precious moments with his family. These activities brought him great joy and provided cherished memories for his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mayra Borrero; children, Wendy Mincieli (Robert), Heidi Calderon (Richard), and Johnson Borrero, Jr. (Gabrielle); grandchildren, Juan Martinez Jr. (Zoe), Emily Martinez, Richard Calderon Jr., Ryan Calderon, and Aurora Borrero; and great-grandchild, Stella Martinez. Johnson also leaves behind his siblings, Noel, Raul, Edwin, Gloria, Sonia, Billy, Rosaly, Regalada, Ruben, Jason, Ivan and Rosa Borrero, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caremelo Borrero Lugo and Adela Rivera Lugo, and sibling, Nayda Borrero.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ. Funeral, Saturday; 9 am at the funeral home with a  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 408 Prospect Street in Long Branch. Johnson will be laid to rest at Mt.
