Joseph Ciaglia Obituary
Joe Ciaglia passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Giuseppe Ciaglia was born in San Lupo, Italy on March 20, 1944 in a little farm house on the outskirts of town. His parents were Pasquale Ciaglia and Antonia Borrelli and was the youngest of five children; Lupangela, Carmela, Vincenzo and Maria.
When Joe (Pinuccio) was 12 years old, his parents moved to the United States to give him a better life. He lived in Red Bank, NJ for a while, and then eventually moved to Long Branch, NJ.
Despite the trauma from his motorcycle accident in 1964, Joe had a very wonderful life. In September 1968 he met his future wife, Julia Yahara and they were wed in October 1969. He worked as a tool/mold maker for Seajay Mold for many years. He worked to support his family and spent a lot of quality time with them. He has four children; Joseph, Peter, Christina and Edward. We took many trips to Italy and went camping and boating in the summers.
Surviving Joe are his wife Julia; son Joseph and his daughter Janeen; son Peter and his wife Isabel and their children Peter and Milena; daughter Christina and her son Delano (DJ); and son Edward; his sister Maria who will be 93 in December and lives in Bergamo, Italy and numerous nieces and nephews who live in the United States and Italy.
