Kathleen Diane Cole

Kathleen Diane Cole, 70 years old, of Long Branch, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Born in Staten Island, New York, Kathy was a graduate of New Dorp High School and attended College of Staten Island. Prior to working in the healthcare profession, Kathy served as a homemaker and cared for her two daughters, Vanessa Lauren and Samantha Aileen.

Throughout life, Kathy was more than happy to continue being the central figure in the lives of her daughters. Her most treasured role was not only being a proud parent, but also a loving grandma to James Patrick (12), Anna Elizabeth (9), Owen Ryan (3) and Nora Olivia (1). Her grandchildren adored her, and she will be greatly missed.

Defying all odds, Kathy tenaciously charged through life. She was beautiful, quick-witted, caring, a good listener and had a great sense of humor. Kathy was happiest spending holidays with her family and friends, and will always be remembered by her homemade Halloween costumes and world-renowned Christmas cookies.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents Carl Bradley Hilton Jr. and Irene Madeline Corcoran. She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Iseman, son-in-law Richard, children James and Anna; daughter Samantha Johnson, son-in-law Clifford, children Owen and Nora; brothers Carl and Jonathan Hilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kathy’s life at a memorial gathering on Thursday, October 6th from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:30pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch.
