Laurie McGregor Obituary

Laurie Jeanne McGregor, born on July 29, 1959, in Red Bank, New Jersey, passed away on August 16, 2024, in Newark, New Jersey. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Siroky; her mother, Jeanne McGregor; siblings Scott, Tracy, Alison, and Robin Shea; nieces and nephews Andrew, Natalie, Ashley, and TJ; and many cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Earl McGregor, and her nephew, Ian McGregor Shea.

A graduate of Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School, Laurie was known for her joyful spirit and infectious sense of humor. Her ability to bring laughter and smiles to those around her was unmatched. Laurie was a person who saw the best in others and often went out of her way to help, making every family gathering and meeting with friends memorable. Her legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Laurie's life will be held at Damiano Funeral Home, located at 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, on Wednesday, August 28, from 4-6 pm with a service at 5:30 pm. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Damiano Funeral Home for their compassionate assistance during this difficult time.
