Lillian Anne Hubbard, also known as Anne or Flower, peacefully passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 81 in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born on July 2, 1942, in Neptune, New Jersey, to her loving parents, Sarah Bush Kruschka and Louis Rosse.
Anne was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She had a passion for creating beautiful flower arrangements and took great joy in tending to her gardens. Known for her generous spirit, Anne always made sure there was an extra room for someone in need and an extra plate of food for the hungry.
In her professional life, Anne pursued her passion for flowers as a Floral Designer. Additionally, she worked as a chef at Saint Alfonso Retreat House, where her culinary skills brought joy to many.
When she wasn't working, Anne enjoyed going on cruises with her friends, creating lasting memories and exploring new destinations above all else. She had a passion for creating beautiful flower arrangements and took great joy in tending to her gardens. Known for her generous spirit, Anne always made sure there was an extra room for someone in need and an extra plate of food for the hungry.
Anne is survived by her beloved son, Nicholas Hubbard, and his wife Catherine and Daughter in-law Theresa Hubbard. She was a proud grandmother to Nicholas Hubbard Jr., his wife Kristin, Melissa Hubbard, Danielle Pizzariello, Diana Hubbard, and Dana Fig. Anne also leaves behind four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Michael Kruschka, extended family and her very dear close friends and family, Jeanie Olsen and Marie Bullwinkle.
Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilson (Bill) Hubbard, and her son David Hubbard. She was also preceded by her parents, Sarah Bush Kruschka and Louis Rosse, as well as her step dad, Adolph Kruschka.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18 from 5-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch. The funeral will held on Thursday at 9:30 am at the funeral home with the service to begin at 10 am followed by the interment at Hamilton Cemetery in Neptune. Anne's warm heart, loving nature, and creative spirit will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
