Lino Rafael Lopez-Luna, age 51 of Highlands died on June 12, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Lima Peru, he had lived in Davie FL, NJ, Everett, WA before moving to the Highlands 3 month ago. Lino was a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for John Hancock in New York.

Though Cyber Security was his passion, he was an art, music, and history lover. He was a citizen of the world through his studies in Barcelona, Spain and the United States. Family was his first priority. Surviving him are his parents, Maura Luna Lopez and Ernesto Lino Lopez Garagatti, his sister and brother in-law, Patricia Scheuner and Andreas Scheuner, and his sister, brother in law, and niece, Monica Lopez Ortiz, Nick Ortiz and Kayla Ortiz, respectively.

His ashes will be transferred to Lima, Peru at a later time. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
