Lorraine Kevra Obituary

Lorraine C. Kevra, age 65 of Fair Haven, passed away suddenly after a short illness on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank. Lorraine grew up in PA and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Scranton and a Master Degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University.

She moved to NJ in 1980 to begin a career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. She was also employed at PerkinElmer, Telcordia, Brookdale Community College, and Red Bank Catholic H.S., and was a tutor in math and chemistry.

She was active in the Fair Haven community and was on the Concerned Citizens of Fair Haven and Be a Good Neighbor Committee. Lorraine loved gardening (and generously shared her many varieties of vegetables) and Bruce Springsteen. She is predeceased by her parents, and is survived by many dear friends.

It was her wish to be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
