Margie Jane Lee

Margie Jane Lee, age 78 of Long Branch died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in Long Branch and was a life resident. Margie worked for the Before and After Care Program for the Long Branch School System before retiring. She was an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church; St. Luke's UMC 49ers Women’s group; the United Methodist Women’s Treasurer; Church Trustee; Financial Secretary and the Office and Food Bank volunteer.

She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Lee, her parents Casimir and Margie Casey, her brother-in-law Joseph Walch and her niece Tina Calabria Clark.. Surviving are her daughters Stephanie and David Jurkin and Casey and Jennifer Lee; her sisters Carol and Frank Calabria and Patricia Walch; her grandchildren Ethan, Taylor and Adrianna Jurkin and Baby Boy Lee due in June; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 3rd from 4 – 7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. The funeral will be on Tuesday with an 11 am service at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 585 Broadway in Long Branch. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Church. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
