Martha Bailey

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Martha Bailey. Martha passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023 at the age of 85. She raised three children with her husband Frank of 63 years. She was a caring wife and true partner. Their extensive love for travel brought them to destinations all over the world.

Her passions in life were spending time with her family and cooking. As a loving mother, she was constantly there for her children providing support and unwavering love. An extremely proud grandmother, she formed a special bond with each of her five grandchildren.

She is one of seven siblings and is predeceased by Agnes, Tommy, Nora, Margie and John. Surviving is her husband Frank; son Frank and his wife Annette; son Marc and his wife Elizabeth and daughter Kim and her husband Mike. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Frank, Mike, Kate, Kelsey and Meghan; sister, Anna and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 – 6 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral, Monday; 9:30 am from the funeral home with the funeral service to begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold.
