Mary Jones Hageman Obituary

Mary Jones Hageman, 74, of Eatontown, NJ passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023, in Red Bank, NJ.  Born November 17, 1949, in Keansburg, she brought joy, determination, and her love for laughter to the world.

A force to be reckoned with, Mary was loving, proud, and always ready to work hard and play harder. She was well-known for her entertaining and fearless personality, boundless energy, and love of dancing. Mary was adventurous and always up for new experiences. She had an unforgettable laugh and a courageous zest for life that was truly inspiring. Above all, Mary was a devoted and loving mother to her 3 children and was cherished by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  

Mary was the second youngest of 11 siblings and is survived by her close and loving sister, Deborah Hageman. She also leaves behind her one and only daughter, Shiela Marie Piper, son-in-law Patrick Ryan Piper, her dear son Frankie Thomas Jones, 5 grandchildren (Michael, Kayla, Ryan, Austin, Christina), and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald James Hageman, 2 grandsons (Dylan and Harley), her parents (Grace and Francis Thomas Jones), and 9 siblings.

 Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements. Mary’s final resting place for those who want to pay their private respects can do so in Woodbine Cemetery, 14 Maple Ave, Oceanport NJ.

The family will be hosting a celebratory memorial service and repass on the evening of Wednesday, December 27th from 6-9pm at Baseline Social, 675 Oceanport Way, Oceanport, NJ 07757 with various buffet food provided throughout for all who want to celebrate her life. The family intends to give her the send-off she deserves, filled with love, laughter, great food, good music, and definitely a dance move or two.
