Modesta Torres

Modesta Torres, age 91 of Atlantic Highlands, died on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico she had lived in Atlantic Highlands for the past 2 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Ricardo Torres, and her son Laureano. Surviving are her sons RicardoTorres-Ortiz, Braulio Torres and Wilfredo Torres; her daughters, Natividad Oliveras, Genoveba Olivera, Aracelia Torres, Delinda Dabrowski, and Julia Carmichael; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19 from 4:30 pm until the time of the service at 7:30 pm at Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Interment will be private at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hazlet. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
