Nancy Ann Melone (Vinci), age 93, was called to her eternal rest on September 12, 2024. A native of Long Branch, NJ, she was the matriarch of her family and a beacon of love and selflessness.

Nancy was the cherished wife of the late Anthony Melone and a devoted mother to her children, Michael and his wife Leslie (Wilkins), John and his wife Maria (Damiano), Mary Lu (Dyer) and her husband James, and Anthony and the love of his life, Helen Gorman. Her legacy continues through her adored sisters, Amelia and Annie; her loving grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Ashley, Dana, Eric, Becky, Tara, Nick, Louis and Andrew; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Jaxson, Angelena, Olivia, Addison Anthony, Chase, Gavin, Hailey, and Miles.

Nancy dedicated herself to her family, cherishing time spent at family gatherings, and was known for her exceptional skills in sewing, cooking, and baking. She also enjoyed playing card games with her friends, which brought her much joy and laughter. Nancy was a devout member of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Long Branch.

She now joins in Heaven her parents, Sebastian and Angelina (Dente), her beloved husband Anthony, and her siblings Fred, Sam, Alphonse (Funzy), Antoinette, Joseph and Salvatore, who preceded her in death.

Services to honor Nancy's life will be held at Damiano Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Long Branch at 1 pm.
