Her sharp sense of humor, though not for the faint of heart, added a distinctive charm to her character, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to share in her laughter and presence.
Nidia's dedication to her family was unparalleled. As a lifelong seamstress, she crafted a legacy of meticulous work as a proud member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union, Local 85 of NJ, and Local 130 of Monmouth County. Her passion for sewing was manifested in her creations throughout her esteemed career.
Survived by her loving children: Jutilia Wilson, Luis Vieira, and Salina Vieira Neuhaus; sons-in-law: Tom Wilson and Brian K Neuhaus; daughter-in-law Elaine Vieira; grandchildren: John Thomas Wilson III, Joanne Wilson, Isabelle Wilson, Chaeli Vieira, Jillian Vieira, TJ Vieira, Hayden Bela Neuhaus, and Gavin Perry Neuhaus. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Laurentino Bela Vieira, and her parents, Maria Da Silva Laranjeiro and Emidio Carreira Da Silva, Nidia's memory will forever be held dear by all who were touched by her love.
In her leisure time, Nidia found joy in cooking, shopping, playing with the family dogs, and savoring moments with her loved ones, especially her cherished grandchildren. A devout Catholic, Nidia regularly attended Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch, where her faith brought solace and strength.
