Parcher "Smitty" Smith Obituary

Parcher H. Smith, "Smitty", 81 of Wall Township, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Parcher was born and raised in Newark, NJ and lived most of his life in Wall. After attending Manhattan College, he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and served fours years in various stations along the east coast. He then graduated from Northeastern University. After a short career in technology, he followed his passion and became a self-employed auto mechanic and more recently a school bus driver in Monmouth County. Parcher was an unique individual who always sought to aid those in need.

He was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Mary Smith and his son Christopher. Surviving are his 3 grandchildren, his sister, Suzanne (Robert) DeFilippis, a niece, 2 nephews and his dear friend Suzanne Spyros.
