Patricia Koob Obituary

Patricia “Patsy” Ann Koob, 87, of Stafford Township died peacefully on September 5th, 2022 at her residence in Perry’s Lake. Patricia was born in West Orange and grew up on City Island in Bronx, NY. She graduated from St. Ann’s High School in 1953. She had many friends in every activity she participated in. She was a court clerk for the State of New Jersey Justice System and a parishioner of St. Mary of the Pines Church in Manahawkin.

Patricia led a full life. She always made friends wherever she went. She had a great sense of humor; was an avid reader; loved her time at the beach and anything Irish; and enjoyed swimming and long walks. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She cherished her time with her seven grandchildren Meghan, Bonnie, Caitlin, Kyle, Ryan, Erin and Grace, who brought great joy to her life. Her friends from Perry’s Lake were a constant presence and source of happiness in her life during her time there and her family will always be thankful for that. Patricia was completely devoted to her four surviving children Kevin, Joanne, Stephen and Christine. She was the perfect example of a selfless mother who successfully raised four children on her own with relentless love and caring.

Surviving are her son Kevin Koob and wife Diane; her daughter Joanne Koob; her son Stephen Koob and his wife Christine, her daughter Christine Leavitt and husband David, and her seven grandchildren, Meghan, Bonnie, Caitlin, Kyle, Ryan, Erin and Grace.
