Phyllis “Babe” Cook, age 82 of Wall and formerly of Long Branch, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Tower Lodge Healthcare Center in Wall. Born in Red Bank, she had lived in Long Branch and Eatontown before moving to Wall. Babe raised 4 children and while doing so went back to school to become a Nurse. She worked at Monmouth Medical Center and eventually transferred to the Human Resources Department. Upon leaving Monmouth Medical she started her own business, CompuHelp, retiring from there in 2010.
Babe was an amazing woman; raising her family while enjoying her professional life. She had many interests including golf, reading, painting, playing scrabble and so much more.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Cook, Sr. in 2018 and her three sons, Charles Cook in 2010, Thomas Cook in 2013 and Raymond “Buddy” Cook in 2020. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Darren Flynn, her sister, Ceil Izzo; 6 grandchildren, TJ, Darren, Phylicia, Regina, Cara and Anthony and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins whom she loved dearly.
