Roberta Ann Johnsen

Roberta Ann Johnsen nee Bowen, age 76, passed away on December 11, 2022. Roberta was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 21, 1946. She attended Erasmus Hall High School and graduated in 1964. In the same year, she was Beloved Queen of Chapter #67 of Flatbush Triangle, which she joined at the age of 12.

Roberta enjoyed a successful career in the healthcare industry. She spent her early career as the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Riverview Medical Center, then traveled the country as a Clinical Specialist for the healthcare division of Philips. She was active in politics and was an elected member of her church council. In her retirement she was a volunteer at many charities, including food banks and Habitat for Humanity.

Roberta was predeceased by her beloved parents Hillary and Mary and her beloved brother William. She is survived by her loving children Alfred and Christina, as well as her grandchildren Jessica Tisony and Andrew Cenicola and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roberta’s life at a visitation on Thursday, December 15 from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3:30 PM at Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch, NJ.
