Samuel "Sandy" Epstein

Samuel "Sandy" Epstein, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022 with family by his side. Sandy was born and raised in Perth Amboy, NJ before spending the balance of his life on the Jersey shore.  

Sandy had many interests and hobbies. He was an avid aviator who maintained his pilot’s license for over 60 years. Automobiles were also a passion. It was this interest in automobiles that led him to his vocation with the better part of his career spent at Ray Catena Motor Car Corp. He was a talented photographer whose photos captured all of life’s most monumental moments and all of the moments that fell between. Whether the landscape in a port of call, holiday gatherings with family and friends, or a day at the beach with the kids, Sandy could always be found with camera in hand documenting the beauty and joy on the other side of his lens. 

Sandy was a true gentleman, tons of fun, down to earth, and a genuinely kind, caring man. He will be remembered with great affection and missed immensely. He is survived by his loving daughter, Samantha Epstein, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.
