St Julian J. Steward, Jr.

St. Julian Joseph Steward, Jr., age 78 of Robinson Towers, Asbury Park, New Jersey, gained his wings on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. St. Julian was born in Richmond, Virginia and lived in the shore area most of his life before moving to Brighton Arms, Neptune, NJ  in 2020. He was a Mill Worker for the City of Long Branch. St. Julian was a loving father and his family was his life.

St. Julian was predeceased by his parents, St. Julian Joseph Steward, Sr. and Hattie Washington; one brother, Charlie Washington and two sisters; Gladys Robinson and Leola Brown. Surviving are his son Tyrone Stewart; two daughters, Sharon and Theresa Stewart; four grandchildren; Leticia Pearson, Alicia Stewart, Aliyah Stewart, and Denise Weber; great grandchildren, Nah’Zon Stewart, Harmony Powell, and Ethan Pearson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue (corner of 3rd Avenue) in Long Branch, starting at 4:00pm. The Home Going Service will be officiated by Elder Rev.
