Steven Bocchino

Steven Bocchino passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years young, living with his wife in West Long Branch, New Jersey.

Steven was born on August 17, 1960 to Katherine and Al Bocchino in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Baruch College with a Bachelor's in accounting, he pursued a career to become a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Steven started his career by opening his own practice which he was very passionate about, but more importantly, passionate about his clients. In his 40-year career, he was beloved by everyone that worked with him. Steven developed close friendships with most clients, who loved to sit and listen to Steven's stories as he worked on their taxes. A few years later, Steven also earned a Masters in Italian Language and Literature from Rutgers University. He loved family gatherings and spending time with his grandchildren.

Steven is predeceased by mother Katherine Bocchino. Surviving is his wife of 12 years, Cleuza Bocchino, his daughters Juliana and Janaína; his grandchildren Emily, Gabriel, and Isabela; his father, Al Bocchino, brother Robert and his wife Laura; his nieces and nephew Brittney, and Danielle, Christopher.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4-7 pm. Funeral, Friday; 9:30 am at the funeral home with a the service to begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
