Teresa Trecate

Teresa Trecate, age 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and granddaughters on Monday, May 22, 2023 in Shrewsbury, NJ. She was born on February 6, 1930 in Ventimiglia, Italy to her parents Grace & Thomas Lando.  Teresa was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending her free time sewing, gardening, cooking, making homemade pasta, and taking walks with her beloved dog, Winston. She was a loving mother to her four children, Claude, Carol, Richard, and Albert JR. and cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, Natalie, Joey, Cristina, and Gabriella. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Trecate, her sisters Maria Facceolo, Paulina Comanducci, Angelina Rubino, and her brother Petaro Lando. She is survived by her sister Carmelina Facceolo, her four children and her four grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend the services for Teresa. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26 from 4 pm until the time of the service at 7:15 pm at Damiano Funeral Home. Final goodbyes will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by the entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence by selecting the Tribute/Guestbook link above.
