VICTOR TERWILLIGER III, 72, of Wayside, NJ died peacefully after a long illness on April 27, 2025 at Complete Care at Monmouth in Long Branch.
Vic was predeceased by his father, Victor II, his mother, Audrey, his wife, Barbara, and his beloved dog, Winston.
After retiring from his administrative position as a paralegal with the county of Monmouth in Freehold, Vic enjoyed many hobbies including collecting antiques, Asian art, and proudly displaying the many first-place trophies won during events featuring his collection of classic cars.
Well known for his ready smile, sense of fun, kindness, generosity, and civic pride, Vic was a member of the Long Branch Volunteer Fire Department and First Aid Squad, serving as a paramedic. He will be greatly missed by those he worked with as well as the hundreds of people he helped through trying times.
He is survived by his many friends, brother and sister first responders, and his best friend Terry, who was at his side for his entire journey, sharing adventures, smiles and a lifelong friendship.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Long Branch Volunteer Fire Department, First Aid Squad, or a local animal rescue group or shelter.
Memorial arrangements are pending.
