William Rolf Bram Obituary
William Rolf Bram, age 81 of Eatontown, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024. Born in Elizabeth and raised in Somerville, he graduated from Somerville High School in 1961 and went on to attend Valley Forge Military Academy. Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a member of the U.S. Army Band (1964-1967) while serving in Vietnam. He graduated from a New York professional baking school and owned and operated the Belmar Hearing Aid Center in Belmar from 1977-2010. He was also employed by Bilow Liquors in Neptune City and Red Bank for many years.
Known affectionately to his friends and family as “Mr. Bill,” he enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, toasted English muffins, hot food (not spicy, but not lukewarm), Atlantic City and spending time with his partner, best friend, and the love of his life, Wanda.
He is survived by his partner, Wanda Barber; sons, Louis Bram (Lake Como) and Benjamin Bram and wife Megan (Tinton Falls); grandchildren, Lauren, Jenny, and Lia; great-granddaughters, Adrianna and Valentina; his sister, Iris Podell (Richard), and many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 3, 2024 from 4-6 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch. Interment services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
